Next for the agenda was Sally's birthday drinks. We hit a little snag when we turned up at the bar she had told everyone to meet and have drinks at and the big black wooden doors were closed. Didn't look open. Sally had not done her research, tisk tisk. But luckily everyone was fashionably late and hadn't attempted to arrive yet so we quickly walked down the street as found a new place to designate the party zone.
2 for 1 cocktails, and it all gets blurry from there. Luckily the hangover isn't too bad because they were also doing $4 pizzas an pumpkin pizza was one of them (delish). Yes a magical place indeed. If only I could remember what it was called. It was in Melbourne Central and the balcony looked out onto the gorgeous state library building and it had lots of old birdcages hanging from the ceiling. Very edgy. We liked it anyway.
