Ok so yes it's true, I have shaved the side of my head. But guys, I think as a group we can get through this and look past it. Seriously. I don't regret it and I love it. Apart from when that side of my head head freezes. Probably wasn't the smartest idea for going to a European winter. My friend Nay brought this to my attention after I'd done it.
Soooo one question please? Who are you? I mean, I've been writing these blogs about my travels and began to find out that more of my less-close friends read my blogs than my actual close friends. This saddens me. I love that others are reading these but I originally started these because I wanted it to be like I was telling everything to all my friends all at once. But lately it feels like I've been talking to a deaf mute person. So please, if you are a friend who is reading these, as close to me as you may be, comment on your reactions or just respond. It'd be nice to know someone's opinion on it all. I know there's readers because I'm told so. But what I really want is actual opinions and responses. Cause if it was actually me telling you in person I'm sure you'd have stuff to say?
Anyway we're in Berlin. Today I almost cried , it was THAT cold!!! And it's takes a good 2 hours to defrost when you come inside. No joke. The worst was when we had to line up OUTSIDE to make a reservation to go in the Reichstag building. I was that crabby by the end of the line. Lines outside in minus temperatures should be illegal. But I have to see sir Norman fosters renovation of the Reichstag with the gaunt glass done so the line had to be suffered. I complained so I'm sure they'll fix it tomorrow.
We just had the yummiest sushi I have ever eaten!! And it was 4 euro. Found an awesome store today and bought a lotsa well!! But it's fine guys cause everything's so cheap here! All presents as well so if you get a message from me asking for your address, be excited. They're only little but all sooooo cool.
Berlin has an awesome street art scene. Rivalling Banksy for sure. I bought a book on it today and I think I've developed a real passion for it. The only thing is, it's really hard to actually find the pieces you love around the city.
Mission begins. Expect 'lookbook' filming in the next vid :)
Loving you blog, Tara.
ReplyDeleteEven being that cold is an experience most tasmanians don't get to experience - I asked Dad!
I hope you are keeping your fingertips warm somehow.
Auntie Lis arrived today and it is all good. Chloe has perked up a lot, as well.
